Information stored on your device

Zenith stores preferences, tasks, shortcuts, saved weather city, trial state, and layout in Chrome storage. Zenith reads and edits bookmarks only when providing the visible bookmark manager. This information is not sold or used for advertising.

External services

• Searches are sent by Chrome to your selected search provider after you submit them.
• Weather sends the city you choose and its coordinates to Open-Meteo.
• Live news is enabled by default and connects to RSS2JSON to load headlines. You can disable it at any time in Settings.
• Remote wallpapers load only after you choose one or provide its HTTPS address.
• Paddle receives the contact and billing information entered during checkout and processes payment as merchant of record. Zenith does not receive or store complete payment-card details.
• Zenith’s licence service stores the Paddle transaction identifier, an encrypted licence key, cryptographic hashes used for licence retrieval and device activation, licence status, and activation timestamps.
• The extension stores the activated licence key, a randomly generated installation identifier, and last verification time in Chrome storage. Licence verification sends the key and installation identifier securely to Zenith’s licence service.
• This public website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard connection information such as your IP address and browser details.

Chrome API data

Information received through Chrome APIs is used only for visible new-tab features. Zenith follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Your controls

You can disable online widgets, remove remote wallpapers, export settings, or erase locally stored Zenith data using Reset Defaults. Removing the extension also removes its Chrome storage.
